Welcome to the April edition of the The Visionary for 2010. May God continue to bless you in ways you have not yet experienced, refresh your visions, and make new opportunities open before you.

No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it. (1Co 10:13, NASB)

That really is a marvelous promise! Although my temptations may seem grievous to me at the time, they are no more powerful than the temptation faced by others, therefore I am not alone in this trial. But note, too, that God is so caring, so interested in me personally, that he will not allow the tempter to tempt me above or beyond my personal ability to cope. But there is more … as the game shows cry out to their audience … come on down dear saint, God has not only watched over your temptation, and allowed them to be measured to your capacity, he has also offered you a way out … now THAT is GOD STUFF!!

Welcome to the February edition of the The Visionary for 2010, may God continue to bless you in ways you have not yet expected, give you new and refreshed visions, new opportunities, new realms of faith and fruitfulness for this new year.

(I pray) that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. (Eph 1:17-23 NASB)

Welcome to the December/January edition of The Visionary. I trust that you are going to have the most wonderful Christmas and New Year, filled with God’s blessing, a little rest and recreation for those on holiday, and a profitable time for those at work. May this season be free of tragedy for you and those close to you.

This has been another exciting year. We have been challenged, pressed, tested, seen blessings beyond our expectation, and filled with all that God has for us! We can only look forward with anticipation of more and better things to come.
