Adventures In Faith 4 Persevering Faith

Internet Bible College - Thursday, June 16, 2016

This is the fourth in my series of articles on Divine healing. “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything” (James 1:2-4).

When our faith is tested, we either develop perseverance even in the face of seeming defeat, or we give up! God is never defeated though at times it may seem so to us. So between our first and last child we persevered through 17 years of believing faith. Despite three miscarriages, and one placenta praevia God blessed us finally with four healthy children, two of them born after we were told we could have no more children.

We saw many healings during our time in Tasmania. Vicki Beaumont had a hole in her heart, verified by X-rays, which caused her to faint quite often. She also had a perforated eardrum. Both her heart and her ear were healed. Mrs. Harvey had a hole in her mouth, which caused her discomfort. Her dentist tried to make a plastic flap for her, but it did not work. After prayer, the hole closed over normally.

Philip Koopman had a collapsing hip which let him down continually. He would collapse in the street, and his wife would have to call a taxi to get him home. His hip was totally healed through prayer. These healing's and many others can be read in detail in my book, Divine Healing – The Wonder and the Mystery.
