Off to South Africa – Again November 14
Dr Denis has been invited to return to meet with Dr. Hennie Lottering and Dr. L. Grobler to set up a new Resource Centre with them. Whilst with them he will present our Chaplaincy program to the Director General of Chaplains for the South African Army. Their government now require chaplains to be qualified and there is no program in South Africa to meet this need as effectively as we can. In this visit he will also be involved in discussions with the University of South Africa (UNISA) to find a pathway to Masters Degrees for our Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma students. The benefit of this opportunity will be that, although our graduates can enter into any Australian university for a Master of Theology (or similar), they may also undertake the same Masters from South Africa by distance education at a fraction of the cost of Australian Degrees.  Read More
